Bonjour,
We had a little bit of a rough morning. Everyone was grouchy. We were ready for nap time! Everyone was much happier after naps.
We had a big storm this afternoon. The storm woke Gilbert up. When he woke up, he couldn’t find me. I couldn’t hear him calling me because the rain was so loud on the tin roof.
Our power went off for about an hour. Gilbert wanted to know who turned the lights out.
Lenell came this evening. She ate supper with us. She is reading with the boys now. Bonnie is taking a cat nap; she usually gets a couple of those in before she actually goes down for the night.
We talked to Joe this evening. They went to some museums today. He spent most of the day with Mr. Bill Lair. He is 84 years old and fought in some of the battles in the area where they are. Joe said that Mr. Lair has many interesting stories to tell.
A demain,
Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
