Bonjour,

Today, we went out to the Posts' house. Joe and Dan went out to Bonoua
to make some visits.

The power went off around 10:30 and was still off when we left a little
after 14:00. They started up the generator so that we could bake the
pizzas and turn some fans on. (Joe just talked to Dan. Their power
just came back on at 21:00.)

I did Language with Isaac and then helped Brian review the parts of
speech. I enjoyed doing that.

Everyone enjoyed the pizzas. We had a good time of fellowship.
Jennifer made a chocolate cake for dessert.

We headed back into Abidjan for a doctor's appointment for Danny and
Bonnie. Danny got his one remaining stitch removed; two of them had
already fallen out. He has broken the scab open several times, and two
of the stitches fell out when the scab fell off. Danny didn't cry when
the doctor took the stitch out. Bonnie had a check-up and got two
shots; she didn't cry on the first shot, but the second one got her.
She weighs 18 lbs. now and is 26 inches long.

We got home about 17:00. The boys played outside for awhile before it
got dark.

Danny was playing with Gilbert and fell right on his nose this evening.
It is all red and will probably be a bruise tomorrow. That boy always
has some type of injury. Danny is also getting his two-year-old molars
and has been a bit cranky.

Bonnie is starting to sit up; she still topples over occasionally. She
is also starting to crawl. She can really move in reverse. She goes
backward until she gets stuck. She is still working on the forward
movement.

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
