Bonjour,

We spent the day at home today. Joe worked in the office this morning.
He is starting to schedule meetings for our upcoming furlough. We will
go back to the States next May.

I did some cleaning this morning and worked in the kitchen this afternoon.

Tomorrow is Bob Engelhart's birthday. Margie invited us over for pie
tonight. We decided to try out the fish fryer tonight to make sure that
it will work to fry our turkeys next week. So, we had everyone over
here instead. Lenell, the Engelharts, Delores, and Romeo came. Joe
fried the chickens and potatoes outside. I made rolls and green beans.
Lenell brought a salad. Margie brought pies. She makes a good coconut
cream pie.

The fish fryer worked great. The chickens were delicious.

We had a good time of fellowship. The boys were excited that it was
somebody's birthday. Gilbert told me that we needed to get some
balloons out for the birthday. Bob chased the balloons around the room
with the boys. They thought that was great. Bonnie got in on most of
the party before she fell asleep.

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
