Bonjour,

Gilbert and Bonnie were up before 6:00 this morning to go see Thumper.  They stayed out there until breakfast time.  Danny got up in time to go out on the porch for a few minutes.
As Gilbert was going out the door this morning, he said, "Sometimes I have to lasso my mind during school.  Sometimes it is in a tree, and sometimes I leave it at home."
Joe took the kids to school.  Then, he came back and did office work this morning.  I worked on sorting books and toys in the kids' bedroom.  Then, I folded some laundry.
The kids were all wound up when they got home this afternoon.  They don't have much play time at school; they are full of energy when they get home.  They went outside to check on Thumper and then played with the Luther kids out in the field.
I made chicken chimichangas for supper.  After I finished the dishes, Gilbert came to me and said, "Oh, I wanted to help you do the dishes or help you organize something."  I got a dry-erase "organizer" that Gilbert has been wanting me to use.  So, we took a few minutes and wrote some things on it.  We did a kitchen schedule for supper tomorrow night.  We put the dining room table and the laundry on the "TO DO" list.  Gilbert started on the laundry, and Danny started on the table.  Their organizing spurt only lasted for about five minutes.  I guess every little bit helps!
Bonnie was playing with her dolls.  She wanted to get her two big dolls dressed for bed.  Then, a few minutes later, it was time for them to wake up.  We had to put their "school clothes" on.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
