Bonjour,
Joe went visiting this morning. They had some good visits. Then, he stopped to check on the baskets that are being made for the dresser drawers. They had two drawers done; they look nice.
The kids and I worked on unpacking some of the stuff that we brought back from Ivory Coast. We got some decorations hung on the walls. I had John Deere stuff for the boys' walls and princess stuff for Bonnie's wall. They were excited about that. Then, I got my Cricut out and cut some letters out for the wall. The boys really like to watch the machine cut out the letters.
After lunch, we took naps. I got up for Bible Club, but no kids came. Our kids were still asleep; so, I just let them sleep until they woke up.
Joe did some work on the pool. The pump motor burned up with all of the power outages while we were gone.
Kristine made supper tonight. After supper, she played a game with the kids.
This evening, I got the quote that I cut out earlier put up on the wall. Every time I put another letter on the wall, Danny asked, "What does it say now, Mom?"
The power stayed on all day today. Either they finished their work, or they just paused for the weekend. We will find out on Monday, I guess.
My blood pressure is a little high this evening. I think I tried to do too much. A good night's sleep should help.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
