Bonjour,

This morning, Joe headed into Anyama. He took Romeo and a few others
out to Romeo's village today. Joe and the others stayed for a few hours
and then headed back. Romeo is going to stay in the village for a week.

Joe said that on their way back, he saw a dark cloud and said that it
looked like it was going to hail. The guys who were with Joe didn't
know what hail was. When Joe explained that it is ice that falls from
the sky, they said that it doesn't do that here. About that time, it
started hailing.

Lenell had invited the children and I to go into town with her this
afternoon. I tried to put the boys down for an early nap, but they
never went to sleep. We were going to leave at 13:30, but some work was
being done on Lenell's vehicle; the mechanics didn't finish until about
15:00.

Lenell picked us up, and we went to Abidjan. She dropped her dog off at
the groomers. Then, we went to the grocery store. From there, we went
to a different store so that Lenell could get some meat. She took
Bonnie with her, and the boys and I walked in the mall. Gilbert wanted
to go on the up and down thing, better known as an escalator. We went
on the escalator and then went to get a couple things at the pharmacy.

We picked Precious up. Then, we went to Castle Fried Chicken for
supper. The boys wanted to play in the castle area. But, I told them
that we would go back there in a couple weeks for Gilbert's birthday. I
thought that the boys might fall asleep on the way home, but they both
stayed awake. When we got about half way home, Bonnie started crying.
Danny was trying to think of different ways to make Bonnie stop crying.
Gilbert tried singing to her, but that didn't work.

We were all happy to see Daddy when we got home. Lenell cut my hair.
Just as she was getting ready to go home, Danny was playing with
Precious, Lenell's dog. Danny hit his chin on the floor and split it
open in the same place where he had stitches. It wasn't as deep as last
time. Joe was able to super glue it closed.

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
