Bonjour,

Joe has not been feeling well all day.  He started a malaria treatment this evening.  Please pray for him that he will feel better quickly.
The kids don't have school on Friday.  We were planning to go to Ivory Coast on Friday to renew paperwork and come back to Ghana on Saturday.  The kids wouldn't miss any school that way.  But, we will wait to see how Joe is feeling.
Joe took the kids to school this morning.  Then, he took the vehicle to the mechanic to have several things done.  He was going to stay with the vehicle to make sure that they got the work done, but he came home in a taxi since he wasn't feeling well.  He rested most of the morning.  Then, he took a taxi back to the vehicle about 1:00.  They weren't finished when he got there, but they were able to get everything done before Joe needed to go pick the kids up from school.
Joe rested a little more this afternoon.  The boys did their homework.  We had supper and got ready for church.
On the way to church, the kids were talking about a Bible story that they have been studying at school – the tower of Babel.  When I said, "Babel," they informed me that it was "Baa – bell."  They are definitely picking up on the Ghanaian pronunciations of things.  Bonnie is the funniest; she changes in to a different voice when she is speaking to a Ghanaian.
I played my clarinet for the song service tonight for the first time.  I am definitely out of practice.  By the time we got to the last verse of each song, I was all out of breath.  Joe preached tonight even though he was sick. There were nine in attendance tonight.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
