Bonjour!

Joe headed to the mechanic shop this morning. When I talked to him a little while later, he said that they had everything back together and that he should be able to come home soon. He got home at 6:00 this evening in a taxi. The engine is working fine; now, it is a fuel pump problem.

I worked on typing Joe’s class notes in between playing with Gilbert and taking care of Danny.

Every once in awhile, Gilbert would look for Daddy. This afternoon, he kept trying to look out the window to see if Daddy was coming yet. He put his boxing gloves on and said, “Daddy? Daddy?” He was happy to see Daddy when he got home!

Joe brought the car battery home with him tonight so that we could run the generator. This is the first power off night that we’ve had in a couple weeks. They kept the power on during the holidays. But, it did go off tonight according to schedule. It is such a blessing to have the generator!

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, and Danny
