Bonjour,

This morning, Joe went to do Bible Clubs with Dan.  Only one of the soccer fields had people there today.  There were about eighty that sat down for the Bible Club.  There is another group of men that sits and watches from afar.
The kids and I did some cleaning this morning.  I made Gilbert's birthday cake.  Then, we did Bible Club.  We had fifty-nine at ours today.  It looked like it was going to rain as we were getting started, but the sun came back out.
We were going to grill hamburgers outside this evening for Gilbert's birthday party.  Just as they were getting the charcoal ready, the rains came.  So, we had the party inside instead.  It was 96 degrees in the kitchen before it started raining; we opened the windows and back door, and it cooled off a little.
L.F. and Dan finished up the painting up at the other house today.  Martin came to help Joe with the well pump.  The pump had gotten too hot and had exploded; so, they had to go get a new well pump.  They got it all installed, and we now have water once again.  L.F., Dan, and Martin stayed for Gilbert's party.  They enjoyed it just as much as Gilbert did.
The kids had fun opening their goody bags.  Then, Gilbert opened his presents.  He got a pair of tennis shoes, a new backpack, and a water gun.  Someone sent a watch for him; we saved that one for tomorrow since tomorrow is his actual birthday.
Joe took Martin and Dan home.  When he got back, we played a pin the tail on the donkey type game; it was a dinosaur game that someone sent.  It was pin the pterodactyl on the spot.  Joe and I played too; the kids thought that was great.  We had to put an additional blindfold over the one that came in the package.  Joe spun me around so many times that I didn't know which way to go.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
