Shopping and Resting

This morning, I got up, got ready, went downstairs, and had a bowl of cereal for breakfast.

A little after I had eaten, we loaded up our propane bottles and headed off to get them filled and to do a little shopping. It took us a while to find a few things; but with a lot of driving around and a little effort, we finally found the avocados and plantains we were looking for.

Once we made it home, we had turkey and cheese sandwiches for lunch. They were so good!! We also had some samosas, which were also very good. After lunch, I stayed in my room pretty much all afternoon. Bro. Ruckman was having a meeting; so, I tried to stay out of the way. I went downstairs at 5:00 P.M. to see if anyone needed help with anything. I was able to do a few jobs. Mrs. Angie prepared some delicious tuna and rice for supper.

After supper, we all pitched in to put things away. Once everything was put up, I headed up to my room. Bro. Ruckman and Mrs. Angie did some studying in the living room; so, I decided to go up to limit their distractions.

It is currently 10:39 P.M. I have already gotten cleaned up and am about to go to sleep. I am going to have to start working on getting into a better sleep routine, especially since I have to be up early to get ready for church in the morning.

  1. I’m always up for shopping. Running errands in Ghana can be a little different than a normal shopping trip though.
