This morning, I woke up at 6:50. I read my Bible and got ready to do my morning run. I let the dog out before I started because if I do not let her out while I am running, she barks the entire time. This morning, the dog did not bark at all. I was able to run one mile this morning. I am definitely not running as fast as I would like to, but it is a little hard on slick bricks and with a dog who is trying to knock you over. After I had run a mile, I went inside and took a shower. Even though it is not really hot here, I can definitely work up a sweat running around the house.
After I had showered and rested up for a minute, I went downstairs. I began working on putting together some pictures for a photography contest in my hometown. Last year, I got several first place prizes and a few second place prizes. I figured that I have nothing to lose; so, I am entering pictures this year. I worked on one photo in particular. It is a picture of the Alamo that I took a couple years ago on senior trip. This particular picture had several tourists and things that I did not want in the picture. With my editing software, I was able to remove the people and replace the sky. I also did some color corrections, just to make everything stand out. Overall, I am really happy with how it turned out.
After I had worked on pictures for a while, Bro. Ruckman had a project for me. He needed me to make ten copies of each paper for two semesters worth of notes for the Bible Institute. This process started around ten, and I do not think I finished until close to three. We did have breakfast, which was amazing. We had French toast for breakfast, and I had fried rice and chicken for lunch. Everything was really good.
After I had finished with the print job, I took a break. I had been standing the entire time; so my feet were really hurting.
We left the house at 5:50 to eat supper at the Kenneys’ house. Mrs. Kenney had made broccoli, potatoes, and kabob chicken. Bro. Kenney had grilled the kabobs, and Mrs. Kenney also made fresh brownies. So, for dessert, we had fresh brownies and ice cream. My favorite thing about the meal was the potatoes, chicken, broccoli, brownies, and ice cream. 🙂 The chicken was so good and really tender. The potatoes had an amazing seasoning. The broccoli was steamed and seasoned to perfection, and the brownies were crunchy on top but gooey in the middle. What can I say, except that the meal was delicious. 🙂
After we ate, we played a game. We played three rounds, and each round I improved. The first round I got 37 points, second 47, and third 57. I would say that I am starting to get the hang of the game, although I did not win. After the games, we talked for a while. I do not think I have laughed this hard in a long time. We all had a good time of fellowship together. When we left their house, it was 10:30 or so. We are now home. I am preparing to take a shower, and I will be going to bed very soon. 🙂 GOOD NIGHT!!!

That sounds more like a day off: A good project and going to friend’s house for dinner is so important. Glad you can stick with the project until it is completed. Keep running! Love you.
