This morning, Bro. Ruckman had Prince and Richmond get the kids from Mpatado because I needed to bring all my camera stuff for the naming ceremony. We left for church around 8:30.
We had a good Sunday school and Jr. church hour, and the naming ceremony went well. They named their baby after Mrs. Angie. The baby’s full English name is Angie Ruckman Efua Quarshie. (Efua is her day-of-the-week name, meaning she was born on Friday.) In Ghana, it is a big thing to know what day of the week you were born. Many people go by their day-of-the-week name. I was also born on a Friday; the Friday name for boys is Kofi.

Once we got back to the house, Bro. Ruckman made ribeye and potatoes on the grill for lunch. It was really good.
After lunch, I went up to my room, edited a picture, and then took a nap before heading back to church for choir practice. We had a good choir practice, and the service went well. After the service, we took a couple home; then, we headed back to the house. I had a leftover burger for supper; then, I headed up to my room.
I was really glad I got to call and talk with dad a couple of times. I am really looking forward to his arrival here on Thursday.
