Today marks my one-hundredth day in Africa. I woke up this morning at 6:45 to finish packing up and cleaning up. Once I had finished with that, I ate a quick breakfast; then, we loaded our stuff into the truck.Β

Once we were all loaded up. The Ruckmans drove me over to the airport. Once they had dropped me off, I went inside and found a seat because I was still about an hour early to check in. While I waited at one airport, the Ruckmans picked up the Hollingsworth couple. This couple will be spending close to two weeks with us. The Ruckmans and the couple were able to leave the airport by 10:30 or so. I could not start checking in until 10:00 A.M. So while they were driving back. I was still getting checked in and waiting at my gate.Β

I had about a two hour wait, as my flight did not leave until noon. We began boarding at 11:50 A.M., and our flight left right on time. I arrived in Takoradi at 12:30 P.M., where Pastor Prince picked me up and drove me to the house. On our way home we stopped for some KFC, which was good.

Missionary on Fire Podcast

Preserving the Legacy of Faithful Missionaries

The Missionary on Fire podcast features interviews with veteran missionaries, classic sermons from the field, and stories of God’s faithfulness across generations. If you love the heart behind these stories, you will love the podcast. New episodes regularly.

Once I had gotten home and eaten, I went up to study for Bible Institute, but ended up sleeping instead. The Ruckmans did not arrive until after 5:00 P.M. I am so glad I flew back!

Once we had gotten everyone’s stuff inside, we kind of just relaxed until 7:00 P.M., when we had egg, cheese, and ham sandwiches for supper. They were amazing. After we ate, we fellowshipped for a while, then parted ways for the evening. I am going to attempt to wake up earlier than I usually do, because I did not get any studying in today. 😬 We ware going to have Bible Institute tomorrow, Saturday, and Tuesday; so it is going to be very busy. We are back in the saddle again!

It is currently 9:11 P.M., so I am going to get cleaned up then to sleep as quickly as I can. That way I may have a chance at waking up early tomorrow. πŸ˜‚

PS: Sorry for being late. I had the blog ready last night, but somehow I forgot to share it.
