A Bit of a Different Sunday

This morning, things went as usual. I woke up, read my Bible, ate breakfast, and got ready to go. Once I was ready, I walked down to the village for the bus route. We got the kids loaded up and headed to church. Not too long after we started driving, the sliding door fell off the van. Thankfully, no one was leaning against it as they usually are. The driver and Prince were able to get the door put back on, and we had no more problems,

The services went well. After the service, I rode home with the kids. We had no problems, and we all made it home in one piece. Once the Ruckmans got back to the house, we had lunch. After lunch, I got a bit of rest before we had a Bible study with ten kids. Once we finished that, I got some things ready for choir practice. I was able to get to church on time; but because the power was out, we did not have the best practice. We were still able to get in a pretty good practice.

The power did not come back on before the service; so, we had service outside. The power did come back on, but we decided to stay outside where it was cool. We had a good service. After the service, I messed around with some of the boys, FaceTimed dad, and had a good time. Once the Ruckmans were ready, we drove some of the members to their house; then, we went home. We had some leftovers for supper, but everything was still really good. After supper, we all parted ways for the evening. I was able to talk with mom, dad, Danny, and Bonnie before they got to church. I have gotten cleaned up and am about to head to bed.
