This morning, I woke up at 7:45. Once I got up, I got ready for the day and went downstairs and ate some cereal. After breakfast, I did the dishes and then did some studying for my sermon this evening.

After I had studied for a while, I started reading a book. After I had read a few pages, I watched a movie for a while. I studied off and on throughout the day for my sermon, but the rest of the day was spent basically doing nothing. (Oh, I forgot to mention, the power went off at 9:15 A.M. and did not come back on until 6:00 P.M.)

Missionary on Fire Podcast

Preserving the Legacy of Faithful Missionaries

The Missionary on Fire podcast features interviews with veteran missionaries, classic sermons from the field, and stories of God’s faithfulness across generations. If you love the heart behind these stories, you will love the podcast. New episodes regularly.

I did have to turn the generator on a few times to keep the frozen stuff cold. The Ruckmans got back to the house at 5:45 P.M. or so. Once they got home, we ate a quick leftover meal, then got ready for church.

We had a good service, and I enjoyed getting the opportunity to preach. After the service, we threw the football around for a while, then headed to the house. When we got home, we all ate a snack before parting ways for the evening. I am now in my room typing the blog. I have already gotten cleaned up; so, as soon as I am done, it is off to sleep.

We have Fante class tomorrow; but before that, we have a meeting with a couple in the church.

  1. I am glad you got to preach on Wednesday! Most of your life has been spent without electricity! At least you have been prepared for that small inconvenience. Have a great day today! I cant wait to hear about the day with Pastor Dare.
