Week #4

On Saturdays, I go soul winning with a staff member for two hours and then visit on a bus route for three hours.

On Sunday mornings, sophomores go to Sunday School and the morning service and then ride home on the bus route. Last Sunday, I had the privilege of leading a boy to the Lord after the morning service.

Classes are in full swing. I am taking sixteen credit hours. I am in the college choir and in a mixed ensemble.  Our ensemble sang in chapel for the first time this week. I am trying to stay ahead on all of my assignments and class requirements.

I have been working night shift at the college doing cleaning and sanitation. I got a new work schedule today. I will be working in the afternoons on weekdays and at night on the weekends. In the afternoons, I am now helping clean up after lunch and then cleaning classrooms. On the weekends, I will be working at the front desk at nights.

I had my first test today. I have an English test tomorrow. I am now heading to bed; that sounds nice!

  1. Sounds like a fun job change. We are so glad you are having a good time. I sure loved your first special in chapel. You did a great job. I listened to it about 10 times and showed everyone that had time. We are going to eat with the Ruckman’s this evening at the Mexican Food Place we all love. Papa is working in the barn fixing up chicken cages. He is loving his new Polaris. It is electric. He even rides it to the store. Keep up the good work. We love you.
