Sunday #5

I woke up at 7:30 this morning. I was able to read my Bible and get ready for church before going down for breakfast. I had to eat breakfast quickly as we were leaving for church at 8:30.

On our way to church, we picked up the neighbor boy; his name is Ransford. He has had chicken pocks for the last week, but he is finally getting over it. I could definitely tell he had chicken pocks; his face was covered with scabs.

When we got to church, there were not many kids or church members there, but we had eighty nine people in attendance at this morning’s services. We had great morning services, and everything went well.

After the services, we went home and had a great lunch. We had spaghetti and garlic bread. After lunch, we all took a long nap. It was a nice, relaxing afternoon. After our nap, we all got ready for church.

We left at 4:30 P.M. because we needed to have a meeting with some of the people of the church about what we are all going to do to prepare for the wedding, which is a week and a half away. We were able to have a good meeting, and we all got jobs assigned.

We had beautiful cloud cover, a beautiful sunset, and I wore one of my new shirts.

After the meeting, we started our evening service. We had a great service. After service, we put the the new church sign on the sign board. We all had a good time, and we had lots of laughs. When we had finished with the sign, we headed home. We ate leftover KFC for supper while we talked to my family on the phone.
