Slow Morning, Busy Evening

This morning, I woke up around 7:30. After getting up, I got ready, then went downstairs. I decided to make some Dutch pancakes for breakfast. It did not take long, and they were pretty good. I ended up eating all six of the pancakes, and since I had eaten a little later than usual, I did not have lunch.

During the day, I did a few computer projects and played doctor with the dog a little. I did not do much until it was time to start getting ready for Bible club. The kids started showing up, right as I was finishing setting up. I did not let them in right away because I wanted to finish setting up first, and I was the only adult.

After a few minutes, I let them in. I thought there were just a few kids; but when I opened the gate, about thirty kids came flooding in. I had fun playing soccer with some of the boys. After playing, I did not stop sweating for the rest of the day. Everything went very smoothly, and we were able to get all 54 kids out of the gate without any trouble.

After Bible club, I made some homemade pizza. Mrs. Angie had made the crust before she left, but I had not felt like making it until today. While the pizza was cooking, I worked on the dishes; then after I had eaten, I finished up. Once everything was done, I locked up downstairs and headed up to my room for the night.

After getting cleaned up, I forgot to type the blog; so, I am typing it this morning. Sorry

  1. Sounds like you have done well while the Ruckman’s were on furlough. That is a bunch of children coming to Bible Club. Are you leading the singing? It is raining here again. It is a wonderful day to keep comfy and read a book. Praying for you! Lots of love.
