Lawn Work

This morning, I woke up at 7:20. Once I had gotten up, gotten ready, and had eaten breakfast, I got my some stuff ready to go help with the lawn work at the church. I left the house carrying a ton of stuff in my backpack plus a gas can clipped around my waist, a gas can in one hand, and the weedeater in the other. Needless to say, I had my hands full. Thankfully, I was able to get a taxi very close to the house.

I really enjoyed doing the weed eating, although it was very hot and I had sweat pouring from my face the entire time. There was so much sweat that it was dripping off my eyelashes onto my sunglasses, making it hard to see. Doing lawn work really makes me miss the lawn business I left behind with my brother. I really enjoy seeing the finished product of a freshly cut lawn. Once we were done, I made my way home.

Once I got to the house, I heated up some leftovers for lunch. After lunch, I went up to my room for a rest. I felt so gross, that I took a shower before even touching my bed. For my afternoon activity, I did some photo editing for my dad. For supper, I heated up some more leftovers, then washed the dishes and headed up to my room for the night. I did a little bit more photo editing for my dad, but I am now about to head to bed. It has been a very hot day, and I am very tired.

  1. You looked like a lawn care worker! It won’t be long now before the Ruckman’s come back. I looked at my roses the other day and thought that you usually trim them back for me. I’m sure we will get the trimmed before spring! Have fun this week! Love you.
