This morning, I got up, read my Bible, got ready, and headed downstairs. Once the Ruckmans came down, we ate breakfast, and the morning fun began.
I needed to go by the airport to purchase a ticket because I will be flying from Accra to Takoradi in a few days. The Ruckmans and I will be spending a couple days in Accra. Then, Thursday they will pick up a couple from the US, and I will fly back to Takoradi. While I was out getting my ticket, I am not really sure what the Ruckmans were doing; but knowing them, they were busy with something.
When I got back, the Ruckmans went out to do some shopping, and they brought home a Christmas tree. While they were out, I made hot dogs and rested. When they got back, they ate lunch; then, Bro. Ruckman and I went back out to get a few more things.
When we got home, I assembled a clothes rack and helped change some lightbulbs. After that, I went into my room to enjoy some ac for a bit. Once I had finished in my room, I went downstairs. I did a few things around the house; then, Mrs. Angie started preparing supper while Bro. Ruckman and I set up and decorated the Christmas tree. While we set up the tree, we listened to Christmas music while the ac was running full blast, and we had a fireplace on the tv. We were trying to get as close to the real deal as possible.
Once we had finished setting up the tree, we watched a Christmas movie and drank hot cocoa. We have now finished the movie and have gone our separate ways for the evening. It is currently 10:01 P.M. I have my bag mostly packed for our trip to Accra, but I still need to add a few things. We will be leaving the house between 7 and 8 in the morning. We will then have close to a six hour drive; so, please pray for safe travels.
