Great Services

This morning after we had gotten up and eaten breakfast, we headed to church. We had great services, and I really enjoyed getting to hear Dad preach after eleven months.

The following paragraph is a recap of the morning service from Bro. James Ruckman.

Brother Joe Consford preached a wonderful message this morning on “I Don’t Want to Die Like a Fool”. Friends…O my goodness… we had a dear Muslim friend from Niger who (after two years of being invited) came with a friend to church. He was so excited after the service and told me he will be back next week with another friend. And then, two young ladies who have been coming for awhile came forward to be saved. Mama Angie has dealt with them before, and they couldn’t grasp the simplicity of salvation. Today, they understood the gospel and got saved. One of them is from a Fulani Muslim family whose parents let her attend church. Yeah, I’m excited!!! There is rejoicing in the Presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth. You better believe we are rejoicing as well!

After the morning service, we headed back to the house. Once we got back, we had some lunch. Then, I went to up to get some rest and to pack for our trip.

At 4:30 P.M., a man from Pastor Dare’s church picked us up, and we headed to a village about two hours away so that dad could preach there. It was a great message. (If you look at the map, Agona Nkwanta is less than thirty miles from Takoradi. But, because of the road conditions and traffic, it usually takes about two hours.)

Instead of driving all the way back to the house, we drove another twenty minutes further to the ocean. Dad and I are staying the night, and the other missionaries will be coming out tomorrow to come fellowship and have a good time.

Once dad and I got here, a little after 9:00 P.M., we got some pizza for supper at the restaurant. Then, we headed back to our room to get cleaned up and head to bed.
