This morning, I got up at 5:55 to get ready and to load things up. Once things were loaded, I got a picture with the Ruckmans; then, Bro. Ruckman drove us to the airport. After saying our goodbyes, Dad and I went in to get checked in to fly to Accra.
Everything went well. Our flight was a little late, but nothing too serious. Once we got to Accra, we got an Uber to the hotel we are staying at for the night. Since check in wasn’t until 2:00 P.M, Dad and I went to a souvenir market, then to the mall for lunch. After lunch, we were able to go back to the hotel and move in.
After resting for a little while, we walked over to the Melcoms to buy some drinks, and we got sushi for supper. I haven’t been able to have sushi for six months, and it was really nice to have delicious fresh sushi for supper.
After supper, we watched some shows; then, we headed off to bed early. I just took a shower and am about to go to sleep. We are waking up bright and early to get to the airport in the morning. We have our alarms set for 5:00 A.M. 😬😬😬 If all goes as planned, we should arrive in Dallas tomorrow night at 8:59 P.M. Pray for a safe trip and a speedy trip through customs so that we do not miss our connecting flight from New York to Dallas.
