This morning, I woke up at 7:30 or so. Once I had gotten up, I got ready for the day and headed downstairs. I worked on the new puzzle we got out, but I did not get much accomplished. After I had worked on the puzzle a while, Bro. Ruckman and I ate breakfast, while Mrs. Angie taught English. Bro. Ruckman and I had some good conversations while Mrs. Angie taught.
Once English class was over, we went to the church. Bro. Ruckman left me there to help the electrician. He did not need much help; so, I sat under the fan the whole time and watched. After about an hour, Bro. Ruckman came back. He talked to the electrician for a few minutes; then, we left.
From the church, we went back to the house for a few minutes before leaving to get a few groceries and have lunch with some other missionary families. Micah Kenney and I sat at a different table than everyone else, and we had a lot of fun. We had some delicious burgers for lunch. After lunch, the Ruckmans and I went to a few more places for groceries; then, we headed back to the house to get ready for Bible club. When we got home, we had a few boys waiting at our gate, an hour early.
The boys were able to help us get set up; then, they played ball until it was time to start. We started off the class with a bunch of kids; but as the time went on, more and more kids kept coming. By the time the class was over, we had forty-eight kids and six workers, giving us another record attendance. We had several kids come from the village we have been visiting, which is a huge blessing to see.
Once Bible club was over, and we had finally gotten all the kids to go home, we went inside. Mrs. Angie started work on supper; I worked on the puzzle, and Bro. Ruckman worked on some stuff on his computer. We had a delicious meal!!! After supper, we all went in the living room, watched a video from Bro. Ruckman’s computer, and then sat in the living room for a few minutes.
I have now parted my way for the evening. It is currently 8:25 P.M., but I have a cold and am feeling pretty cruddy. I am hoping to wake up feeling better in the morning for yet another busy day.
