Cleaning, Puzzling, Baking, Bible Club

From the title, you can probably already figure out what today’s blog will be about.:) I woke up around 7:30 this morning. Once I had gotten up, gotten ready, and eaten breakfast, I started doing some cleaning. Everything gets covered in dust so quickly at this time of year. I can mop everything one morning and wake up the next, and everything has a layer of dust over it. Once I had finished mopping and cleaning up, I worked on the puzzle for a little bit.

After a somewhat busy morning, I ate lunch. After lunch, I got bored, and mom suggested I do some baking. I had been wanting coffee cake. (We called it “cowboy cake” growing up.) I had her send me the recipe for cowboy cake a couple days ago, and I was able to make it today. It definitely helped pass the time away, and it tasted really good once everything was done.

Once I had finished baking, it was time to set up for Bible club. The kids showed up about forty-five minutes early this week, but I did not let them in right away. I finished setting up; then, once some of the other men arrived, we let the kids in. I got the opportunity to teach the lesson today. Everything went well until dismissal. We have a pretty chaotic time getting all the kids to go home each week; but in the end, we finally get them all out and on their way.

I did not feel like making anything for supper this evening; so, I ordered KFC. I ordered enough to last me for a few meals because I will not be wanting to cook after evangelism and church the next few days. After supper, I was able to talk with my mom and siblings for a while; then, I went up to my room.

I have just finished cleaning up for the night, and I am preparing to go to sleep.

P.S. Mom helped me with a few of the steps for the baking. :):):):):):):):)

  1. It is wonderful to have a Mom for baking help! Your day sounded like a nice lazy day. Looked like you had a big crowd for Bible Club. That is always exciting. Have a good night and a fun weekend! Love you
