I am working on getting a better sleep schedule. So, I watched some videos about it, and I am working on getting up when my alarm goes off. This morning, my alarm went off at 7:00 A.M.; and guess what? I got out of bed when it went off. ๐ As soon as I stood up, I drank some water, and started moving around. Once I was ready for the day, I went downstairs, unlocked everything, took some pictures, and worked on the puzzle for a while. I had a piece of my cowboy cake for breakfast. Yum!!!
After that, I got some laundry started and waited for the landlord to come. He wanted to check and make sure everything was dried up and working properly. Unfortunately, he found a small leak around the drain in my shower, so he will have to come back Monday with the plumber to do some more work. They stayed at the house for about on hour trying to figure things out, but they ended up having to go.
After they left, I ate lunch. I had some of the KFC I had bought yesterday. After lunch, I went up to my room for a rest. I had a nice rest!!! After my rest, I got ready and headed down to do village evangelism with the guys. We had a good time!!! When we first got down there, there was a small girl who was deathly afraid of me. I was trying to get her to see that I would not bite, but she was not having any of it. She stayed on her mom’s back the entire time and would not let go. Later on, while we were walking, a small boy slowly approached while I was sitting. He got pretty close but was a bit shy; so, Prince led him over to me. At first, he would not talk and kind of looked at me strangely, but after I showed him a picture or two on my phone, he sat on my lap, and we became friends. After we had sat for ten minutes or so, it was time for us to go. I led him back over to his grandma; but as soon as I started to walk away, he started crying. When I heard him crying, I picked him up, and he immediately stopped crying; so, I gave him back to his grandma. As soon as I gave him back, he started bawling. I think I have made a pretty good friend. I will definitely have to try to go back for some visits.
Once we were done for the day, we all walked back. I parted ways at my road and said see ya later to the other guys. Once I got into the house, I had some supper and then went up to my room for the night. I have not done much this evening, but tomorrow is going to be another busy Sunday. It is currently 9:12 P.M. I am just about to go get cleaned up and then head to bed for the night. I am looking forward to trying to keep the habit of waking up earlier. I know that 7:00 A.M. is not early, but I am going to gradually work my way to a time that is early.

I had just caught up on the past stories and saw this had posted.
Sweet story about the little one. You’ve got a friend. ๐ And I would’ve had cowboy cake too. I didn’t but I had a great blueberry mussin from a place you know well.
Prayers for the landlord to have success on repairs.
Muffin oops.
Glad you are doing well. It is fun when you know kids like you. I remember when you would come back from Africa. White people were scary to you. Have a good Sunday! We are praying for you!
You definitely made a new friend. Great pictures
Different children have way different responses to white skin. It is always interesting to see! Making friends in Africa is so much fun!
