A Busy Day

We ran some errands this morning getting things ready for a youth rally that is taking place tomorrow.

There was a big water leak at the Ruckmans’ house today. I knew how to fix it, but I did not have any glue. The air conditioner man came to work on the air conditioner. He had some glue. I was able to fix the problem and get the water back on.

This afternoon, we headed to Shama for the building dedication. This was a special blessing to me. About twelve years ago, I began going to Shama in hopes of one day starting a church there. I met the village chief and did a lot of visiting there. A young man whom I taught how to go soul winning got a burden for Shama. He is now married and has several children. He started a church in Shama several years ago. They had a very difficult time finding property. They met in houses and then in a tent for several years. Bro. James Ruckman was able to help them raise funds for a church building. Tonight was the dedication service in the new building. What a blessing!

We got home about 10:15. The internet is not working . . . maybe tomorrow. I am turning my phone on for a few minutes, sending updates, checking messages, and then turning the phone back off again.
