This morning, I woke up, got ready, and went downstairs. Prince and I started washing potatoes and getting them ready for the banquet.
Then, Pastor Prince came. We took the grills to the church. Then, we went to get drinks and ice for the banquet.
We went up to the church at 3:00 to start grilling. We grilled until 5:00. Then, we went back to the house to get ready.
The Perkins had come for the banquet. Bro. Perkins had stayed at the church with his vehicle. So, I walked down to the junction and caught a taxi so that there would be room for the others in the truck. I was all sweaty when I got to the church. The guys told me that I was too cheap because I walked to the junction before I got a taxi. I did get some exercise in that way. : )
The banquet went well. There were games followed by the meal. Then, Bro. Triano preached. After the banquet, we cleaned up for an hour or so. Then, everyone fellowshipped for awhile. We did not get home until 11:00 PM.
I turned the water heater on. I called my mom and dictated the blog to her. I am planning to get up early and do some studying before Bible Institute tomorrow.
