Youth Rally and Revival

We got up early this morning and ate breakfast. We went to Pastor Dare’s church before 8:30. The youth rally did not start at 9:00 like it was supposed to. The traffic is crazy, and the youth from nine different churches were coming. We waited until 10:00, and seven churches had arrived. The other two arrived about 10:30. Bro Ruckman has lost his voice; he preached with no voice. But the interpreter did an amazing job.

After the youth rally, we went to KFC for lunch. It took us 1.5 hours to get home (less than ten miles away) from KFC due to the traffic.

We rested this afternoon. Bro Ruckman cooked chicken and fries for supper.
Bro Fred picked me up at the house and took me to Bro. Dare’s church for the revival service. Bro. Ruckman stayed home to rest his voice. He is supposed to preach on Sunday morning for a baby naming ceremony. Please pray that his voice will be strong enough to do that.

The youth choir of Mt. Calvary and the youth choir from Bro. Dare’s church sang together; it was so good. I preached and the altars were full.

Just before I left for church, the man came and got the internet going. Then, the power went off. It was the electric card that was out of units. The electricity is pre-pay here. At first, we could not find the electric card. We found the card. Then, we found a place in Mpatado that was still open where we could pay for more electric units. So, now we have internet and electricity.

Tomorrow, Ghana is having their presidential elections. We will stay close to home tomorrow. Pray for a peaceful, fair election with timely results.
