Another Day of Bachelorhood

This morning, I woke up around 7:30. I got up, got ready, ate some breakfast, and then did some things around the house. I also walked down to the pharmacy to get more medicine. I am starting to feel better.

Once I got back to the house, I began preparing for my Sunday School lesson. I was able to get things in order, and I hope the lesson will go well. Once it got to be lunchtime, I made some chicken salad sandwiches. The chicken salad came in a can, and it was definitely not my favorite. After I had finished eating, I went up to my room to rest. I did not get much rest because of a headache, but I was able to sit in my room and enjoy the ac.

After about an hour or so in my room, some of the guys from the church texted me that they would be coming for Evangelism. Once they got here, we headed out. We were able to have some good talks with people and invited several kids for the Bible club and Sunday school. Once we were done, we headed back to the house.

Instead of preparing a meal, I ordered KFC. I ordered enough for supper tonight and lunch and supper tomorrow night. It was a little pricey, but at least I won’t have to prepare meals after church. These few days alone have definitely made me more thankful for my mom and my temporary mom.😉 They prepare so many different meals, whereas I sit in the pantry and contemplate what to make for just one meal. Even after walking around and looking in the fridge at least three times, I end up texting my mom on what I should make.🤣

After I had finished supper, the power went off. Thankfully it was only off for about twenty minutes. I am now sitting in the living room with the air on. Soon, I’ll be heading up to my room to shower and get ready for bed.

  1. Glad you are feeling better. Remember to keep drinking lots. Don’t feel guilty about resting, you need it. Glad you were able to get out and visit people. Papa and I got to go to bus meeting and visiting a few girls from my Sunday school class. We love you and are praying for you.
